In the world of competitive ballroom dancing, a partnership is built on more than just technique and timing. It’s forged in shared ambition, relentless dedication, and a deep, unspoken understanding that transcends the dance floor. Our story is one of two dancers from different worlds, brought together by a shared passion and an unshakeable belief in each other.

Two Paths, One Passion

​

My name is Tallulah Wilkinson. I have lived and breathed ballroom dancing for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the United Kingdom, the dance studio was my second home, and the thrill of competition became my driving force. I dedicated my life to mastering the grace, power, and precision of this demanding sport, always dreaming of representing my country on the world’s biggest stages.

Halfway across Europe, in Ukraine, Kyrylo Novikov was on a parallel journey. He discovered his own love for ballroom dancing, pouring his heart and soul into his training and quickly establishing himself as a formidable talent in his home country.

Our paths were destined to cross, but the circumstances were something neither of us could have ever predicted.

A Partnership Forged in Adversity

​

Two years ago, the conflict in Ukraine changed everything for Kyrylo. In a time of profound uncertainty, my family and I opened our home to him, welcoming him not just into our country, but into our lives. It was amidst this backdrop of turmoil and transition that a new, powerful partnership was born.

We quickly discovered a unique synergy on the dance floor. Kyrylo's powerful style and my own dynamic energy created a chemistry that felt instinctive and electric. We committed ourselves to a rigorous training schedule, averaging over 40 hours a week, pushing each other to new heights. We weren't just dance partners; we became a team, united in our goal to become the best in the world.

Representing the United Kingdom, we have been incredibly proud to turn our hard work into tangible success. Together, we have achieved more than we ever thought possible in such a short time. We are the current:

Our Vision for the Future

While we are immensely proud of what we have accomplished, we know this is just the beginning. Our ambition is to continue rising through the ranks, to defend our titles, and to push the boundaries of what is possible in ballroom dancing. In the coming months, we will be travelling to compete in Denmark and Taiwan, as well as defending our titles here in the United Kingdom.
